Delete All Posted Contribution for a day
I accidentally posted contribution before they were verified. Some how the amount post got all mixed. Example...General Fund amount was included in the Youth fund. And there was entry for Youth Fund which the total was correct. I would like to just delete everything in the posted contribution for that day and start over. Because now I am not sure if the Tithes and offering amount are correct. Is there a way to do a mass delete(For all contributions added on that day)?

I'm not at my normal location, so I can't remember if there was a way to selectively delete Posted Contributions. What version of PCPlus are you using ??Friendship7 wrote:I accidentally posted contribution before they were verified. Some how the amount post got all mixed. In any case, you can (prior to v11) re-enter all the contributions using the same data but a negative contribution amount to clear out that incorrect entry. You'll have to do this for every contributor.
In V11.1 & 11.5 you can go through the list of contributors and reverse that day's entry.
Then once that is accomplished, you should Post to Contributions ONLY. I'd also make sure that the Funds Accounting unposted transaction queue is looked at, and delete that deposit transaction.
However, if the Funds Accounting transaction was posted, then I would post Contributions as an "UPDATE to Funds Accounting" ... which will create a FA transaction that reverses the original.
