Hi,
Does anyone know the instructions on how to make a report of the number of parishioners with no date of birth on record?

Its actually quite simple ... follow the directions listed here:

and in step 3 which says: " To do this, we will pick a field (Profile First Name) and click Next Step. Then, we will choose an operator (Is not empty). Click Done." Change that to field to birth date and the operator to missing a date. As far as the design of the output, you can just run the query and get the list of names.

Thank you. When it says, "From the Personal Profile menu, select the Custom Reports option", I can't see the "Custom Reports" option. I have version 12 of Power Church Plus. Thank you.

In newer versions of the software, it's under the Other Output menu. I will get those articles updated

The steps are the same, its only the menu location that needs to be updated.

Do you have a video of the steps please?

The first thing you should see after going to the Membership -> Personal Profiles -> Other Output -> Custom Reports is a window that says Query List Manager.

As far as any videos on this, there are training videos that can be purchased on the main Powerchurch.com website under the Training menu.

As far as the design of the output, you can just run the query and get the list of names", I changed the field to "birth date". However there's no option, "missing a date" in the Pick the Operator section.

OK ... you should see 'is missing date' ... that is the same thing

I am referring to there being no "missing date" option.

On tab 2, operators there is no missing date? Are you in the Personal Profiles area of membership?

Yes

If you don't have "Is missing date" on that second step, then it sounds like you don't have a date field selected in the first step



You will see the field name listed in the title bar ("Birth Date is missing a date" in the image above)
