I am always getting a blank line for Alternate Addr 2. No matter if I define it as:
IIF(EMPTY(Qmf_temp.alt_add2),"",Qmf_temp.alt_add2)
OR Qmf_temp.alt_add2

In both cases 'Print When' ' Remove Line if Blank' is checked.
No other field is to the right of that line and the address field above and below are not touching alt_addr2 field.

The report Grouped Header is Lastname, firstname, address. One sheet for each family.
Any ideas?

Not sure why that isn't working. I just tried it here in a report and it removed the empty address line.

An easier way to go about this in general would be to enter "NOT EMPTY(alt_add2)" in the Print When field and leave the "Remove line if blank" box checked.
