I have posted my contributions for June 3, but when I try to post the transaction it says, No transactions found to post between months of Dec '11 and May '12. I even printed a check out and tried to post and it doesn't show up, either. What do I need to do to fix this, please? Thank you.

There is a setting in the File > Preferences > Accounting Setup > Fund Accounting tab to control the number of months that can be open at a time. This is set, by default, to 6 months. Version 9 allows up to 12 months open at a time. Versions 10 and higher allow up to 18 months open at a time.

If this is set to the maximum number for your version, you will simply need to close a month in Fund Accounting. You can do this by going to Accounting > Fund Accounting > Close Month.

Thank you so much. I changed it to 12 months instead of 6. I do not wish to close any months since I'm still getting used to this software.
