On Line Giving Solution
I received a call from Paperless Payments today in which they informed me that after June 30th, 2009 they are discontinuing their services. I was wondering if anyone had any other online giving solution (company) that they have used that has been easy to use and good to wrok with. I would also like to find something that is reasonalbly priced. Please contact me at pastorsteve@passionchurch.tv if you have any suggestions. Thanks.

Re: On Line Giving Solution
We just heard about this yesterday as well.
We have published the following Knowledge Base article:

Hopefully, we can get a good discussion going here, if others are using or researching services, you can share your experiences here for the benefit of everyone else.

Re: On Line Giving Solution
Are you saying that, generally speaking, I will be able to process our credit card transactions using Vanco Services just as we did using Paperless Payments?
And are the cost's about the same?

I've contacted Vanco and I'm almost convinced to switch to them. But I'm still looking for one more piece of assurance that switching over to them from Paperless Payments will be a 'seamless' transiition. Specifically; when you remove the link in Powerchurch Plus, ver 10 to Paperless Payments, will you give us the same capabilities by adding a link to Vanco when we sign with them?

Did you look at the article that was posted above? In it was this statement:Alaraujo wrote:I've contacted Vanco and I'm almost convinced to switch to them. So it looks like you'll be able to import the transaction file from Vanco directly into PC+ without any problem. We have recently added an Import Contributions From File process into PowerChurch Plus and PowerChurch Online, which was added specifically for customers of Vanco Services. They actively promote and support the importing of contributions into PowerChurch Plus and PowerChurch Online.
While the import process was specifically designed to work with Vanco, it is important to note that it will allow you to import a file from most any service provider. The instructions for importing and formatting the file are listed on the Import Contributions From File screen.
A Maintenance Release will be published after June 30th, 2009, which removes the Paperless Payments functionality from the program and help files.

Re: On Line Giving Solution
I started using Vanco Services a few weeks ago and I'm pleased with it. It does not integrate as easy as Paperless, but the added features and cost make it all worthwhile.
