Does anyone know what the "Calculation Date" refers to when running Pledged to Actual Comparison

"The report summarizes payments against the amount pledged up through the date specified for calculation."
So... if you have a pledge period of 01/01/2017 thru 12/31/2017 .. and you set the Calcuation Date as 04/30/2017. It will calculate the amount that should have been received by May 1st and show that as the Pledged amount. So if the overall pledge is 12000 for the year, the Pledged amount by April 30th should be calculated at 4000.
