I am using PowerChurch version 10. I did enter the contributions twice. I need to know how to delete one of them? And sorry to say both has been posted.

The only way to do this in version 10 is to pull a list of the contributions entered, with envelope number, fund number, and amount. You should be able to do this using the Contributions' Posted Contributions report. Just enter the date the original contributions were entered.

Then open the "Enter Contributions" function, enter the date the original contributions were entered, then re-enter the contributions, but enter the amount as a NEGATIVE amount.

For instance, envelope 10, gave to fund 100, 10.00.

You would enter the envelope, fund, and -10.00.

When you finish entering all those negative amounts, POST the Contributions to Funds Accounting (I'm assuming that when you posted you posted to Funds Accounting).

When you post, the system will delete one entry per envelope for that day, and when the transactions are posted in Funds Accounting, it will reverse one of the deposits listed there.
