Reversing a large contribution won't fit

We are trying to manually reverse a $100,000 contribution that has already been posted to another contribution fund. When we try to enter -100000, it won't fit in the data entry box. Any problems with breaking this into smaller amounts?

What version of Powerchurch are you using ?? Versions 11.1 & 11.5 offer a reversal function which will take care of this.

Otherwise you can do a reversal using the Contributions Scan module, doing a manual entry.

Then look up the contribution under Posted Contributions, and then reverse it that way. You should then enter the contribution correctly and post all transactions to Funds Accounting which will correct the entries there.
