I like v9 but correcting the "missing accounts", that is accounts in different funds with the same middle numbers (i.e. 01-5250; 02-5250) has proved to be a tedious task. My problem, however, concerns group accounts with the same middle numbers. When I enter "Maintain Chart of Accounts" and it lists 4 different funds with the same 4-digit code, there is no way that I can see to change these accounts like you can detail accounts. The problem lies in the fact that the group description is different in each fund. How do I change this? Delete each one and add them back in?

Group accounts just like detail accounts need to have their own account number if they mean something different. You can move each of these accounts to it own number just like you would move a detail account. Information on how do this can be found on the following page:
