Negative value display

I have found an anomaly in the display of negative values. (At least I think it's an anomaly.) When I run the Accounting Fund Balances, the negative figures are displayed using a minus sign instead of parentheses like I have set it up in Accouting setup. Other reports with negative amounts (at least the ones I've run) display properly. I have installed the latest maintenance release, but that didn't fix it. Any thoughts?
