Functional Statement

I have a few account that we have had money contributed to that have funds left over that we want to move over into the General fund, how do I go about making this transfer so that it does not show up as income?

In version 9, a transfer account is a special type of account that doesn't show up on income and expense statements. If you use one of those, you should be ok.

If you're not using v9, you would normally use income accounts as transfer accounts. I suppose you could offset the fund balance rather than an income in that transaction. I'm not sure how "proper" accounting-wise that is.
