I have download the latest Maintenance release as of today, using version 14.4.
I was hoping that this MR would allow me to print the 1st qtr Form 941 but it's still looking for 2025. Will this be updated soon or am I missing something?

Are you set up on the calendar year? If so the 941 isn't due until next month. There will probably be an update later this month.

It's coming in the next Maintenance Release. We are in the final rounds of testing before publishing the update.

Thanks for the information. Since we pay monthly payroll on the 15th each month, I generally process the 941 before the end of the quarter. Good to know that it will be updated soon.

I must still have something wrong. I have downloaded the current maintenance release - at least that's what the system tells me when I try to download it. I'm using PC+14.4 and the system date says 3-31-2026.

When I go to process the 1st qtr Form 941, the heading states that it is for year 2026, 1st qtr. (the Form 941 Assistant). All the salary and tax numbers are correct. when I go to print the form, it still says 2025, both in the heading of the form Form 941 for 2025: (Rev. March 2025) Employer’s QUARTERLY Federal Tax Return

and the box in the upper right corner -
Report for this Quarter of 2025
(Check one.)
1: January, February, March
2: April, May, June
3: July, August, September
4: October, November, December
Go to www.irs.gov/Form941 for
instructions and the latest information

I'm not sure what to do now.

OK .. it sounds like the print template did not update.

Lets try this in order.

1. Go to the PCPLUS14 directory and make sure that the pcp14mr.exe program is present. The date of the file should be on or after March 31st.
2. Restart (not shutdown) the computer to clear all caches and release all files.
3. Go to the PCPLUS14 directory and double-click on the pcp14mr.exe program to run it. Follow the prompts through the install. It will ask you where to install (should default to the correct directory), etc, etc. Let it complete the install.
4. Open the program and see if you can print the form.

Thanks, Neil,
That seems to do the trick! I had the pcp14mr.exe on my computer with a 4-15-2026 date. When I installed it, the printed report looks fine. Still not sure why the system was telling me that the MR was current.

The Maintenance Release was installed and updated the program properly. The 941 PDF file wasn't overwritten for whatever reason. It may have been in use or busy being scanned by antivirus or something. Either way, glad to hear re-running the Maintenance Release installer fixed it for you.
