Moving money from one restricted account to another

I need to move some money from one of my restricted accounts to another - this is how I did the transaction:

Making Room account # is 4230-921
Building Fund is 4228-920

Credit 10-1210-000 (savings) $300.00
Debit 10-4230-921 (Making Room) $300.00 Then released it
Debit 10-4830-921 (M.R. release) $300.00
Credit 10-4999-000 (rest. release $300.00

Debit 10-1210-000 (savings) $300.00
Credit 10-4228-920 (Bldg Fund) $300.00

It deducted $300.00 from the Making Room account twice. The Building Fund was credit properly.

In this situation you should have debited the release account (10-4830-921) for the Making Room Fund and then credited the Building Fund income account (10-4228-920) to record the transfer. No other entry is needed.
