True balances

Can someone please tell me why the balances in the balance module does not match the balances in the income and expense module for the restricted funds. Which module do I go in to get the balance in a fund right now?

Income and expense reports do NOT show total balances, it only shows income and expense for the period. If you want the total balance use the Accounting Fund Balances report.
