Checking Account and Fund do not balance

Good Evening I hope someone can help me. I am using version 9 and I am new at this. My Checking account is in balance (03-1120) I have checked it against the bank statement. However, my balance in Fund #03 shows $55.00 more than my checking account. I am pretty sure I know what I did originally and I thought I fixed but I now realize I did not. Here is what I did.

01-1120 5.00 Debit
03-4210 5.00 Credit
01-1120 50.00 Debit
03-4210 50.00 Credit

Not sure why I did the next move but this is what I did:
01-1120 55.00 Credit
01-3110 55.00 Debit

I then tried to fix the checking account being off 55.00 by:
03-1120 55.00 Debit
03-3110 55.00 Credit

I realize I goof up big time can anyone help me

Dave,

Based on what you describe, your trial balance for Funds 01 and 03 should both be out of balance by $55--Fund 01 being a debit and Fund 03 a credit. To fix, input the following entry:

Debit 03-3110 55.00
Credit 01-3110 55.00

That will bring you back into balance.
