2006 Budget

Post by jgailliard »

Is it possible to make a change in the Chart of Accounts for the 2006 budget without it effecting 2005. When I go to work in Chart of Accounts, it is not obvious to me if I cna do this. Although I already copied this years budget to next year, there are some accounts that we are no longer using or are adding. Thanks

I don't believe so. You can add accounts for next year, but you can't delete accounts until you're sure you're done with any reports/etc you'll need for end of year. Then you have to delete any transactions in the account, before you can delete them.

More info on this can be found in the PC+ V9 manual on page 223.

If you don't have a copy, you should see about getting one. I ordered two extras for both the church secretary and the treasurer so they can lookup these type of issues. Saves alot of time! :)
