I'm trying to get started in Power Church Accounting.
I have put in 2 checks using the "Entering manual checks, and one entry in using "Enter transactions" I marked Yes to post now. But nothing happens. I can not find anything in any reports, trail balance, profit & loss, balance sheet, etc. There is nothing under "transactions to post. Where do entries go??? I know accounting, but right now fell very stupid.

If you entered a manual check, and selected "Post Now" as yes, you were in the Accounts Payable module. If you were in "Enter Transactions" you were in the Fund Accounting module.
Fund Accounting is the hub of all your accounting. All entries from Contributions, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll can flow into Fund Accounting. When you enter information into any of these areas, and then Post (there are options to post entries in each area), the information is sent to Fund Accounting where it then has to be posted to update your Accounting information. Unless you're running a report for unposted information, you're not going to see anything on reports until you post.
That probably made everything as clear as mud, I know. Rule of thumb: Post everywhere, with Fund Accounting being the last place you post.
