Yikes! One of my restricted accounts is inflated (in error) by several thousand dollars and the credit of that amount is showing in Unrestricted Net Assets. How can I track down where and how that happened? It just shows a lump sum as settling to that account instead of a single transaction. (PC11.55)

Re: Unrestricted Net Assets
Found it! (Still puzzled though...don't know how it happened)
I ran an Account Dependency Report and found that 4999 was reporting to one of my restricted funds. Once I corrected that, everything went back to normal.

Re: Unrestricted Net Assets
Evidently, when the account was created, someone did not take the normal default of Unrestricted Net Assets, and used the Restricted Assets 3000 series account.silvertown wrote:Found it! (Still puzzled though...don't know how it happened)
