NC Tax Table

Post by shayne »

I am new to Powerchurch software and am trying to install my NC Tax Table. An example is for Single - if over 12,750 but not over 60,000, $765 + 7% of amount over 12,750. How do I get this entered or do I need to use another table?

The $765 is the total of the taxes for amounts below 12,750. There is no need to enter this amount, the program automatically calculates it. All you need to enter is the upper range and percentage for the range.

That is how I entered it but it is not calculating it correctly. It is too high. I will double check myself when I get back to my home computer. Thanks

Make sure you are putting in the correct "Exampt per year" for the employee. This is the withholding amount based on their exemptions. Also check this article on our website for more information. http://www.powerchurch.com/support/answ ... icle_id=14
