A couple things I would LOVE to see in the accounting module:

when entering a transaction or entering manual checks I wish the system would be able to tell me my last number. I realize that in the entering transaction portion it will tell you the last transaction but sometimes those are deposits or autowithdrawals. If I have to make a correcting entry or something like that I number it. I always have to pull up the check register and page through it to find my last number.

And when I enter my checks through the AP module I like to do what I have all at once and then write the checks. So I don't usually have the checkbook right here handy. And even if I am entering three or four by the time you dig out the bills and figure what acount number it is going to or breaking down into I have forgotten the check number I just used so it is back to my checkbook to see what the next one is. It would be wonderful if AP would remember the previous checknumber used -- or at least display it the same way the enter transactions does.
