I am still mystified. I had PowerChurch process and print 5 payroll checks on Jan. 5 and again on Jan 19. The Jan 19 checks appear in the View Posted Transactions list but the Jan 5 ones are nowhere to be found. There are no unposted paychecks and no unposted transactions.
They don't show up in the month-end Payroll Item Summary either. What can I do to retrieve them? Will I need to "fool" the software by
running a process payroll routine again for the missing checks so that fund accounting has them?
I don't see any kind of search option anywhere in PowerChurch either. Help! I need to do my EFTPS payment for January! I could figure my EFTPS amount from the printed pay stubs, but would rather let the software keep track.
Some Paychecks have disappeared!

Are you sure no one did a database restore over your data? That's the only way these items could have disappeared if they're not in Payroll, and not in the Unposted Transactions in Funds Accounting.k9vet wrote:I am still mystified. FWIW .. you really don't need a 'search' option if the system is running correctly. What I would do is run the January 5th payroll, and when you get to the Verify Payroll screen, change the Payment Method to Manual Check and use the check numbers listed on the existing pay stubs.
Then once you finish, immediately POST Payroll, and verify that the Posting Option is set to Post to Fund Accounting. This way you can be sure its going to FA. Once that's done, go to Funds Accounting and check the Unposted Transactions function to make sure that they are there.
Then Post Transactions in FA.
Finally, I would check the System Audit Log under utilities to see if anyone has restored the database.

I just thought of something too. I trust you have the system set to post to the month based on the Transaction Date if not, you may find those checks in Dec 2014 !!
