Custom Report Directory - replace "Photo Not Available"

We've built a pictorial directory using the custom report generator. We like what we've got, with one exception.
When a family doesn't have a picture, the program prints a message in text: "Photo Not Available".
What I want to do is have the report use the generic "No photo" icon that shows up in the Family Profile page when there's no photo showing. I guess I could assign that icon to every family for which we don't have a picture, but was wondering if there's a way to do this in the properties of the photo placeholder in the report itself. A quick look didn't reveal where the "photo not available" message was stored.
Any help out there?
