Existing Member to be move from Parents profile

We have a member that is classified with his parents and just married another member. How do I combine their file?

We have a member that is classified with his parents and just married another member. How do I combine their file?

1. Where will they be living? In her house, or a new location. Either way in MEMBERSHIP, update the Mailing List Profile to reflect either Mr & Mrs Sam Jones, or Sam & Ann Jones and update the location if necessary.

2. Find his parents mailing list profile, head to the Family Members tab, select his profile in the list, then click on the Move Profile button. You'll then be presented with a list of all the Mailing List profiles. Just find the one you updated in step 1.

3. Are they going to use separate envelope numbers, or combine them. If combine, you'll go into CONTRIBUTIONS, select the Reassign item in the pull down menu, then the Reassign an Envelope Number. In the window that appears enter either her number first, and then his number in the to: box; or vice versa.
