Possibly Deleted Family
As I went to add attendance today, I realized a family is missing from the database. I know they were not deleted because I am the only one with access to the program and the family is MY family. Had the information on Monday, but gone today. Any idea why? Is it possible to just be hidden somewhere? Using PC 11. Also wondering if I should be concerned that others may be missing. I did run a Maintenance Release recently. Have not restored data from a back-up.

First, I'm going to ask you to re-index the database.lcrawford wrote:As I went to add attendance today, I realized a family is missing from the database. then .. I'm going to ask you to verify a few things:
1. The Mailing List record for the family is not there at all
2. None of the Personal Profiles for the family are there

Re: Possibly Deleted Family
I reindexed. There is no family mailing list info and no personal profile info for anybody. I have tried to pull reports for various attendance that I know the family members should be included in. Nothing that I can think of to try is pulling up the names.
Re: Possibly Deleted Family
The only way this could occur is that if someone deleted the names, or overwrote the database with a version that did not have the names.lcrawford wrote:I reindexed. All it takes is for someone to delete the Mailing List record, then all subordinate Personal Profiles would go in a automatic cascade delete.

Re: Possibly Deleted Family
I am the only one who accesses the database. I have my own log in separate from the system admin log in. I have specifically set it up that I cannot delete from my log in. It is my family record that has been deleted so I would have no reason to delete that. There is no back-up data without that record either, as mine was one of the first to be entered. The record was definitely there when I entered attendance on Monday for Sunday's service. I have not done much work on PC since then.
Re: Possibly Deleted Family
Someone else is playing around because these records do not simply disappear. If you had an envelope assigned and contributions attached to one of your personal profiles you could look at the Contributions Audit log to see who deleted the envelope number.lcrawford wrote:I am the only one who accesses the database.
