Feb 29 birthday
How should we enter a person with a birthday of Feb 29th? I entered the individual and they don't show on the B&A report.
Re: Feb 29 birthday
The problem is that the date is valid for a leap year, but the reports may have an issue.
You can enter the leap year using this workaround, I'm not sure how it affects the reports;

From PowerChurch tech support. They advised us to use 9996 as the birth year. It produces the same effect as the 9999, but works for the Feb 29th date.

Re: Feb 29 birthday
When you entered the person's birthday, did you include the year?

Sorry it took me so long to respond.
Individual doesn't want the year shown in directory. I am using 9996 as 9999 didn't work.

Even in the birthday reports ?? That's unusual, as they should since the 9996 should let the system know the Feb 29th date is valid.Mel F wrote:No they aren't.NeilZ wrote:Is the person showing up now on the reports ??Mel F wrote:Sorry it took me so long to respond.

Re: Feb 29 birthday
The birthday might be a red herring in this case, and the person is being excluded for other reasons. Verify that any other selections that are being made on the reports are not excluding the person, like Personal Status Code, Mailing Category, etc.
There is also an option on the family record marked "Include in Membership Module Reports". If this person's family/household has this box unchecked, they will not be included on any report found under the Membership menu.
Beyond all that, we will need more detail about what reports you are running and what selections are being made on those reports.
