Copy and Paste

I would like to paste to members info like phone no's , addresses. and emai addresses. Am i milling something that prevents me from doing this??

What are you copying and pasting from and to ??
You should be able to cut and paste to any entry screen, that's a standard Windows function.

When i right click on a entrie screen I do not get the options for copying or pasting

Should work as long as you're cutting and pasting one line at a time, and the member info page should be open for editing/change.

That is what I would think but i do not get that opition, is there any thing that will turn it off?
I can got to other programs and copy but when i come back to paste it will not work

If you're trying to bring up a 'right mouse' menu to select copy/paste, its not going to work. You have to use the Keyboard Shortcuts:
CTRL-C : Copy
CTRL-V : Paste
Just tested it .. works like a charm.

thanks , CTRL's will work it has been years sence i have used them and i had forgot to try it.
There is no way to turn on right click, It sure is easyer ?
Is there a way to search on first name only, or do I have to start a new subject

You can't turn them on in the program ...
As far as searching, you can't do a normal search, but if you click on the
Locate button, then click on the column header for
First Name and start typing the name, you'll bring up all the Susan's or John's, from there you can go through the list.
