Group Email Error

Post by lynngarcia »

Receiving an error message while trying to send an email to a group. Not sure why. Worked fine yesterday. And, my Outlook mail is working, but not PowerChurch group email.

Here's the message:
A connection to the email server could not be made.
OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from CSMail.SMTPClient.1: Internal Error (t4): (using Build 21009)..

Thank you for any suggestions. :D

Check to make sure that the email settings under File - > Preferences are the same as that you use for your SMTP server in Outlook. If they are, check to see if your Outlook is setup to always PULL mail before SENDING, what is known as POP before send.

If so, you may have to do what I needed to do at another location. I had them keep Outlook up and running, and checking for email every 10 minutes. This way the SMTP server gets that check that you are an authorized user.
