If this option exists already outside of creating a custom report, please tell me, but . . .
A wishlist item item I have for a future release on the visitation reports is an option to suppress the Results field. I find this to be a good field to enter personal information I can later review. At the same time some of this info might not be appropriate to share beyond pastoral staff. However, the other parts of the visitation report are very useful for our deacons to insure that folks who need the care are getting regular contact.
I am just scratching the surface on custom reports so I might figure out how to do this on my own at some point, but thought i would make the suggestion.
Thanks for the great amount of functionality we have discovered in Powerchurch!

FWIW .. you may want to use the ministry services function for your visitations. This is an area that can excluded from everyone except the ministers of the church. You can then let the deacons use the visitations area for their services.firstpreshc wrote:If this option exists already outside of creating a custom report, please tell me, but . . .

That would work if I wanted to keep my visitation ministry complete separate from the deacons. That is not my intent. I want the deacons to see who I visited, but not see the notes I make. Likewise I would like the elders who have overall responsibility for the spiritual life of the church to see who all is being visited by deacons, myself, and others as we track that, but they do not need to see, nor do they want to see, the pastoral notes.
