A new Maintenance Release dated 09/14/2026 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 14.

The update will automatically download and install, but you can trigger the download by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release. You can also manually download and install the Maintenance Release by visiting https://www.powerchurch.com/mr.

This Maintenance Release includes the following:

Contributions

• Import Pledges - Numeric overflow error when there is a lot of pledge history
• Pledge Statement shows ##### for five digit fund numbers

Fund Accounting

• Multiple reports can load the wrong report subtitle
• Accounting Setup Assistant can sometimes create account XXXX- ASSETS instead of 1000-000 ASSETS

Payroll

• Time Off Calendar - Filter by department options are not clickable and the All/None buttons aren't anchored properly

General

• Check box, Radio button, and Radio button group controls auto size and positioning improvements
• When saving and reloading size and position of windows, the current screen DPI should be taken into consideration

Just tried installing this update and get an error message: "Unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted. Error 4551: An Application Control policy has blocked this file." I've never seen this before. Is this a Windows 11 thing, or a PowerChurch thing? I'm installing the update from the same PC that has PowerChurch on it.

I don't remember seeing that before. Restart the computer before trying again. If it's still an issue, you can try deleting the downloaded Maintenance Release installer from the PowerChurch Plus program directory (by default C:\PowerChurch\PCPLUS14\pcp14mr.exe) and next time you run PowerChurch, it should offer to download the Maintenance Release for you again.

Turns out a reboot was all that was needed for the maintenance release to install. Weird. Thanks for your help.
