Slow startup on 12/18/12 release
We recently installed the 12/18/12 maintenance release for version 11.5 and have noticed a significant delay in loading PowerChurch. It takes about 24 seconds for the login window to appear. Prior to that, there is no indication that the application is even trying to launch...no splash screen, no cursor busy icon. It is very easy to assume that nothing is happening and attempt to start the application again...which eventually starts a second instance. Any particular reason why this should take so long to load? Prior to this release it would load in a couple of seconds.

The release notes say that they needed to add some additional Microsoft .NET routines for compatibility with Win 8, this may slow loading for other Windows versions. Just a thought ... I did notice that on our wireless system, it took about 10 to 15 seconds for the splash screen to appear on our networked laptop. Prior to this version is took about 8 to 10 ... running on WinXP.
