This is workable but you have to be very careful. The membership module is connected with contributions module. The membership module is where the envelope numbers are assigned that contributions uses so if your treasurer assings a number on his data base, that number will not be reflected in the church computer data. You can't combine two membership databases into one so any changes made to one data base will have to be manually entered into another one for them to stay consistent.
Accounting can stand alone a little better but you still have to realize that no one database will have all the correct data.
We tried this setup and had a lot of problems over about a year. I would recommend you consider doing all the work on one computer system. You can setup a network and have your treasurer bring his laptop to the chruch and interface with the network. Using this system, the PC program is actually stored on only one computer and the data base will be changed anytime a computer on the network changes the data. The users manual has some good instructions on setting up a network for PC.
