Um ... I'm going to assume you're talking about a Contribution Fund, because if you're talking about a Fund Accounting fund, that account is attached to the fund, not vice versa.

Please let us know exactly what you are trying to accomplish, as the more information you list the better.

When entering contributions and I get to the Fund line, I enter 1 for Tithes & Offerings which is connected to Pledge and/or Plate income. I added a few (i.e. Altar Flowers, Memorials, etc.) I am now trying to enter income from the use of our building and tie it to the Parish Hall income account in the Chart of Accounts. I hope that explains what I am trying to do. Thanks.

OK ... then you're talking about Contributions. So you're creating a new Contribution Fund through the Maintain List of Contribution Funds function in the Contributions module.

On the Accounting tab, I take it you can add the Bank account OK ?? What kind of error are you getting when you try to add the Credit (income) account??

I seem to get lost as soon and I add the fund under "Set Up" "Maintaining List of Accounting Funds'. I set up the 2 digit number and the name and them i'm not sure what to do after that. I have tried everything that I thought I remembered from last week, but I haven't got it down yet.

I would pull out the manual, and follow it as it gives you the steps to add a new fund. Start on page 139 of the v11 manual. If you don't have the manual handy, press the F1 function key on your keyboard and the built-in help will pop up. It has the same information as does the manual.

The only difference between the manual and v11.5 is that the Maintain List of Accounting Funds dialog now has the information on that screen setup in TABs. The Accounting Tab is where you associate the Contribution Fund with the Funds Accounting accounts. The steps listed in the manual are the same otherwise.
