import or export

Post by sanctuary »

Can i export power church into an excel program and/or can i export my excel program into powerchurch? i always have to do two different reports because you don't have a summary report of each account that begins with the new year's budget figure then adds in all receipts and minuses expenses. Each committee likes to see how much more they can spend throughout the year. it's a fairly easy report that I don't see you offering. is it in the works if you can't import or export it excell.

The Budget Report will do what you are asking, provided that you credit any receipts you get directly to the expense account you are tracking. This will give you a total of your expenses less any receipts in the "Actual" column. The "Actual" will then be subtracted from the annual budget amount and the "Difference" column will give you the amount left. You can select a monthly report with annual numbers to its right or you can just select a full year report. This can be done with the entire list of budgeted accounts in a particular fund or you can select specific accounts or range of accounts to be displayed. This all falls under the Accounting drop down menu. Accounting > Fund Accounting > Reports - Fund Accounting > Budget Report.
