Printing reports to OneNote

Post by F12Mahon »

I am using PC 11.1 on a win 10 desktop. I currently run my reports, save them as a pdf, and print to OneNote from Adobe Reader DC. I would like to print directly from PC to OneNote but the top half of our church name is cut off in OneNote.

I cant find a setting to address it. Can someone help resolve this?

Are you talking about the standardized reports ?? I don't think you're going to find any such a setting. Due to issues with the report writer software (a third party tool) when they tried to move to a newer version, the developers had to revert to a version that does not recognize what OneNote is.

Are there certain reports that work and some that don't ?? Is there some type of setting in OneNote that can be adjusted, like Adobe Reader's 'Fit to page' ??

I am using standard reports and it happens on all of them. I did see a reference somewhere about changing margins for paper with a letterhead on it. I went to the File tab...Preferences...User Setup Options...Reports...and changed the top margin by hitting the arrow up from the default .25 to .50. That fixed it. I then went back and manually changed it to .35 and that worked also. One thing I don't like about Power Church is you cant print multiple reports collated. Using OneNote is my workaround. Otherwise I could print all my reports one sided and then copy them so they are collated and two sided. Our copier printer had the capability to do that..

Thank you for trying to help. I don't know what the folks at Power Church would do without you.

FWIW .. I think that's the easiest way to do this. We put together our Session agenda and reports in this manner, as the reports come from different Ruling Elders. We just print them off, and let the copier do the collation and stapling.
