Not Responding

I have PC+ 11.55. I recently loaded it unto a laptop with Windows 8. All parts of the program seem to work ok until I clip the x in the upper right corner to close out. Then PC+ seems to freeze. The screen goes dull. And there is a "Not responding" message at the top of the screen. How can I resolve this issue?

Is the program totally up to date ?? Are you on Windows 8, or have you done the update to 8.1 ?? Did you allow the program to load to the standard C:\Powerchurch\ directory, or did it force the load to the C:\Program Files (x86) directory ??

What happens when you use the File-> Exit menu item ??

I have it running on a Win8.1 laptop and don't see this issue. What else do you have loaded on the system?
