I am just beginning to understand powerchurch software. I posted from accounts payable to fund accounting. somehow the month posted too is not correct. when I try to correct in modify there is a warning that the changes will not appear in accounts payable what do I need to do.

I am just beginning to understand powerchurch software. I posted from accounts payable to fund accounting. somehow the month posted too is not correct. when I try to correct in modify there is a warning that the changes will not appear in accounts payable what do I need to do.

If you can live with the wrong month in Accounts Payable, then just fix the transactions in Fund Accounting, and add a note to the transaction explaining the problem to give an audit trail.

The alternative would be to void the transactions in Accounts Payable, then create the proper transaction. In many cases, it really isn't necessary to do this, just fix the month in Funds Accounting.

BTW .. just a hint because you're new here, each area of Powerchurch is covered by a forum, so the next time you may have a question about an issue in Accounting, look for the Accounting forum and post there. Your question could be overlooked otherwise.
