We are trying to figure out how to handle payment as love gifts to Speakers, and payments as stipends. I am thinking of creating a love gifts fund, and a stipend fund that we move exact amount of money from (as needed) the main fund to make to make exact, and specific payments from.

How do you handle cashing an reimbursement check for the person in PowerChurch? Some people do not have a bank account to cash the check, but we always write a check for the paper trail. gkenney

Thanks, for the reply. Are you aware of GAAP financial statements? I was told by a CPA that we would need a GAAP (accrural statement accounting statements) because they were preferred by banks. Gene .

PowerChurch is a fund based accounting system. How easy is it to create journal entries to convert to an accrual system for creating financial reports for applying for bank loans?
