Trying to clean up the Chart of Accounts...
We have 20 years of data in PowerChurch Online, and some old expense accounts that seem to predate even that. Many hands have resulted in the end of the chart of accounts looking like an illogical mess, so I'm trying to clean things up. I have several accounts where: --I run an activity report that ...

Re: Version 15 - 11/24/2025 Maintenance Release
You did mention that, and I didn't fully understand the implications. Thank you for clarifying! I'll call in a few minutes.

Re: Version 15 - 11/24/2025 Maintenance Release
You mentioned that "The update will automatically download and install, but you can trigger the download by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release." That option is currently grayed out. "Restricted" funds - move from checking to savings
All of our contributions are deposited into the checking account. This means that any restricted funds are deposited along with the unrestricted funds. But most of these restricted funds are building for future large expenditures (like the building fund). And our savings account is actually paying m...

Re: Two System Admins - Is This Possible ?
One workaround might be to create a System Admin account that both people have the password for. Then set up two "Almost SysAdmin" accounts, one for each person. Use the almost accounts on a day to day basis, so that tracks back to the person who made the change. Then only use the actual System Admi...

Contributions received from charitable trust
We have a few members who have set up charitable trusts, and then have the trust send checks to our church. We've been entering these using a fund code (901) that does not appear on their contribution statements. This started before I became the finance person. What are the pros/cons of this approac...
