Re: Can't get Check In Installed
I'm not sure what happened with the permissions. I didn't change anything, but they started working. As far as the Check in Kiosk not connecting to the server while using the server name. It had to do with the new computer had vista installed which utilizes IPv6 in the network connections. Once I di...

Re: Can't get Check In Installed
Ok, weird stuff. I decided to use the ip of the server instead of the name and it worked. I thought everything was ok. Now when i open the check in kiosk, it connects and pulls up the activity, but I can't log in because it says no users have been given access to the check in module. I just checked ...

Re: Can't get Check In Installed
Neil,
That was a good idea, but unfortunately it did not help.
I have uninstalled, and reinstalled the program.
I have disabled the wireless and ran a wired connection.
I still cannot connect to the check in server.
Is there any troubleshooting materials?
Thanks
Jason

Can't get Check In Installed
Hi, We currently have 4-5 check in kiosks set up. I had to replace on of the computers today, and I can't get the check in kiosk to connect to the server. I have another kiosk next to me connected to the same wireless, and it's working. I can connect to the server that the data files are on through ...

OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from msxml3.dll
I am trying to run the check in client on a newly deployed computer and I keep getting this error:
OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from msxml3.dll: The URL is invalid.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have ran the .NET update, and still get this error.
Thanks!

Checking in children of divorced parents
We have several families that attend our church who are divorced. Is there any way in the check in system to connect children to more than one family? Often times custody issues are tender topics, especially with non custodial parents. Regardless if there is primary or shared custody, telling one of...

Re: Check-in randomly doesn't print tags
Yes these are over a wireless client. The connection seems to be quite good. It seems odd to me that the wireless connection would be an issue, but then I don't know how it all works. Ideally in an update the programmers would add a check to make sure a print job was sent to the printer after every ...

Check-in randomly doesn't print tags
We are running Check In on 5 kiosks, twice a week. It seems every week at least once, one of the computers will not print tags for a particular family. The family gets checked in, but no tags print. The system works fine for the next family. This poses several problems. First the family does not kno...

Re: In this but not that
Do you know if there are any plans to improve PowerChurch's reporting functions? I have done quite a bit with mysql databases in the past, and this seems like the most rudimentary of database functions. It is extremely frustrating for us to invest so much time and effort to get our database set up a...

In this but not that
I'm working on a custom report that will report all of the people who have been in a certain group of activities, but are not currently in another group of activities. What I'm wanting to accomplish is to know who has attended Sunday school in the past, but is not currently signed up for a Sunday sc...

Re: Expression Builder
Zorac,
Thanks for the info. I have all of those things accomplished. One last thing. Is it possible to have the header change dynamically for each role? As in, I want it to print the Role Desciption for the current role in the header.

Expression Builder
Could some one point me to some information on how to craft expressions. I am building a custom report, and there are two things that I want to do. 1) the easy one. I want to not print the label "allergy" if the field allergy is blank. I know how to get it to not print the field, but I need it to no...
