Attendance Bar Codes
Enter attendance faster than you ever thought possible with a standard barcode wand that easily attaches to your computer. Simply print your attendance register forms with the bar code option. Then, to enter your attendance from the Fast Data Entry screen, just scan the bar codes of those who were present. This eliminates the need to scroll up and down the screen searching for names, and also keeps you from having to refer back and forth from the attendance register form to the computer. Check Reader
Contribution data entry is a task that requires diligent care and effort. After all, one of your organization's foremost financial responsibilities is to ensure giving records are accurate and timely. Using the Check Reader to enter contributions saves time and virtually eliminates data entry errors.
Here's how it works:
- Slide the contributor's check through the check reader, PowerChurch Plus reads the magnetic numbers printed on the bottom. This number is unique to each contributor as it includes the bank number and account number.
- If you have previously scanned a check from this contributor, their information is automatically displayed on the screen. If this is the first time the contributor's check has been scanned, a window will appear prompting you for an envelope number.
- Since most people give the same amounts each time, PowerChurch Plus displays the information from the contributor's latest giving. This speeds along the data entry process. If this contribution is for a different amount, the amounts can be easily changed.
- Enter in the full check amount and if necessary change the contribution fund information.
