Creating 2nd quarterly for 2023

Post by PLitada »

We are having our yearly WC audit and I'm missing my 2nd quarterly 941 for 2023. I had back to back surgeries and apparently I didn't save it in my files. I'm assuming I did one because I never received anything from the IRS stating otherwise. Is there anyway for me to go back and prepare another one? I tried but my computer updates the forms with the current year. I'm at a loss.

You're going to have to do it manually unless you want to go through the following procedure:

1. Find a Powerchurch backup from July 2023.
2. Do a current Powerchurch backup and make sure you know where it is.
3. Restore the backup from July 2023.
4. Run the 941 preparation, and store the PDF, and print it.
5. Restore the backup made in step 2.

Do not try this with a computer system backup as its not that easy.

Thank you, that makes perfect sense. I've never been trained beyond the set up so I'm riding by the seat of my pants. Thank you for your help!
